Q.

#AskTheExpert My baby is 9months old.. Now I am not using thyroid tablets so my periods are irregular.. Is there any coincidence between thyroid and periods?

A. if you were suffering from hypothyroidism during pregnancy then you need to continue thyroid medications .. sometimes your whole life...so better consult your gynaecologist and check thyroid levels and start treatment as soon as possible

A. certainly there will be a connection between your thyroid medicines and periods. since you must have just started taking them it may affect your periods as well. please consult your gynecologist once and talk to her. she will guide you better in terms what needs to be done to take care of your periods.
