#AskTheExpert my baby is 5 months old, sometimes he is arching his back when lying down and cries a bit. Does he feel any discomfort? Or is it to make him sleep? One more question: Can I use diapers for my baby during this summer? I am using pampers premium pants, is it okay?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 11 m old boy5 years agoA. in such a situation the child might be crying due to colic pain so kindly give regular stomach massage along with regular burping to decrease the pain and yes you can use diaper if you are able to change it regularly

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 9 yr old boy5 years agoA. Your baby might arch their back when they have gas or an upset stomach. This could be because arching the back stretches the stomach a bit and might make them feel a little better. You might notice that your baby arches their back after feeding, when trying to poop, and even while lying down.
