#AskTheExpert my baby is 4 and half months now. Can we hold the baby in sitting position for few mins. Will it affect the baby?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. yes you can hold the child with support and the back of the child should be well supported when you are holding the child otherwise it will put undue strain on the back

Yes it is going to affect the baby you are not recommended to make your child sit in the sitting position even for certain while before completing the age of six months because it can actually affect the spine of the child which is why it is not recommended
