#AskTheExpert My baby is 3 weeks old, recently he is experiencing constipation. I dont know the exact reason behind. he puts in lot of energy to push out his stool, turning his face red. could you please suggest some solution pls

A. it's normal aof the baby. it s absolutely normal for the baby to not pass stools daily as digestion process can be different for all . If baby does not pass stool even upto 1 week it s not to worry. If more than 1 week and baby has discomfort can use glycerine suppository for relief.  No syrup is given for this below 2 years for this issue .
