Q.

#AskTheExpert my baby is 3 months old now.. I have low milk supply and giving formula feed along with breast feeding.. but my baby is not gaining enough weight (4.15kg at 86th day, birth weight was 2.5kg) but she is active.. I am always confused about how much formula shall be given in addition after every breast feeding.. or whether she is satisfied with the breast feeding.. she usually sleeps at the breast after 5-10mts of feeding.. please help

A. It’s a healthy weight gain near your child is not even three months a child has gained more than 1500 g which is very very good see you have to know there is a minimum gain of 500 g is considered to be gained every every child has gained better than that
