#AskTheExpert My baby is 3 months old . My periods have just started. is it going to impact my breastmilk supply?

A. Hi periods start after different time in different patients  ... there is no fixed rule  .. to some extent it depends upon if you are breast feeding ur child  ...it won't effect your breast milksupply

A. My child is exclusively on breastfeed. But initially after delivery my milk supply was low. So I used to giver her fm. After 5-6 weeks, my child came on bm exclusively. She has now started sleeping 4-5 hours at stretch at night. Can this be a reason?
