A. Hello good evening !! It's common in babies to suck fingers or putting fingers or toys into mouth. They feel comfortable while sucking as they habituate to latching ,you can stop this habit gradually. Using pacifier also becomes a habit and might expand jaws due to continuous sucking. Try to stop this gradually by deviating baby on other activities like showing/playing with toys, talking to them , holding hands playfully might help you.
