Q.

#asktheexpert my baby is 3 and half months old and has partial neck control. Does tummy time few times a day, rolls over by himself and likes to be held upright only. Lately he has started "pull to sit" (by himself). The issue is that when we engage in pull to sit, he drops his head down forward instead of holding it upright. is it too early for him for pull to sit!? should we encourage this activity or not?

A. you can make the child sit with support after completion of 5 months of age. the thing is that the back of the child should be well suzpported along with the head as well as the bottom of the child. after making the child sit if you see that the child is uncomfortable then kindly avoid sitting of the child again for at lzeast one to two weeks

A. hi it is common no worries no need to encourage,it is too early to practice sitting so just try to divert your child attention by giving toys or changing place
