#AskTheExpert my baby is 2month 18days old she hiccups 4-5 times in a day what to do??

A. hiccups in children occur due to gas which is present in the stomach. during the feeding process child tvakes air along with milk and that air goes inside the stomach which irritates leading to hiccups. you havve to offer feeding as well as do proper burping(for atleast 20 minutes) to decrease this problem and it is a self limiting problem

A. hi dear Hiccups are considered normal in babies. They can also occur while the baby is still in the womb. However, if your baby gets hiccups a lot, particularly if they're also upset or agitated with hiccups, it's a good idea to talk to your baby's doctor. This could be a sign of other medical issues.
