@asktheexpert my baby is 21 months old and she has fever from last 2 days but after giving calpol it reduces but again after 4-5 hrs it comes and temperature is 101-104 degree. Given meftal p syrup also and calpol both as per dr suggestion but fever is coming again n again. Plss suggest wht should I do.

A. This is the nature of the fever to keep repeating like this but there is this thing that if the fever doesn’t subside within maximum time of 72 hours then it is not a normal fever it’s probably viral or any other category associated so right now you should continue with the medication and if needed please visit your doctor again
