#asktheexpert My baby is 2 yrs old.He is not speaking anything except mummy and papa.If he wants anything he only point out that object even if we say him to do bye to someone he is not responding to it. I am very worried about him.Please suggest something ?

Okay so don’t do things for the child by pointing out if to encourage your child to speak up and things will happen over the period and some kids pick up on speech by the age of 2 1/2 years which is completely alright right now I think the only thing that you need with your child encouragement and the second thing that you say that your child is not responding to a particular thing so you need L depth of that if it is only about by then it is okay but in general also if your child is not responding to certain things then it can be a problem in that case you need to check with your doctor
