Q.

#AskTheExpert My baby is 2 year and 4 month old. He does not speak well. He speak only 2-2words Ex- dada, mummy , papa. And What he say (bubbling) I do not understand it . what can I do. Please suggest me.

A. thank you sir! He understand basic command and well response it. But He does not speak above 4words.

A. proper language / speech development will start between 18 months of age to 2 years of age. there is no need to worry before that just concentrate on the diet and regular interaction with the child. also speech and language develops properly with more people available to interact with the child avoid usage of tv mobile and laptop because they are the most common reasons for delayed speech and language development. the most importantt thing is that before speech understanding of the commands given by the parents should be present. by 18 months if the child is not following basic commands then only you have to meet the doctor requirement of speech therapy will also be discussed by your doctor

A. Hi dear mom If ur baby is babbling like mama papa dada etc and speaks which u don't understand, it can be due to tongue tie... Consult with your doctor for the same as he will guide you better after the proper evaluation of the baby.
