#asktheexpert My baby is 2 months old she is having cold blocked nose, i gave saline nasal spray 2 drops 4 time but still she is not getting well please suggest what to be done

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children1 Year agoA. Cold is most of the time because of some viral infection or allergic condition and symptoms are usually sneezing, running nose, nasal congestion and fever. cough along with throat irritation are usually associated .
Treatment consists of antiallergic antipyretics analgesics and decongestants medicine .
Ags a home remedy steam inhalation would be very useful .
Medicines like wikoryl / tminic / Alex cold can be used in a proper douse for 3-5 days as per the symptoms .
Steam inhalation is repeated frequently .

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy1 Year agoA. Its a safe & effective way to cure cough & congestion in children. Put one or two garlic cloves in mustard oil and heat the oil. Once the oil is lukewarm, rub it on baby's chest & feet. Warmth & smell of mustard oil helps to get quick relief from nasal congestion and cough & cold.
