#asktheexpert My baby is 2.5 months old. She has this haemangioma(strawberry nevus) birthmark on her right biceps which is getting bigger day by day. I can also see swelling on that. Is that something to be worried of?

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 6 m old boy1 Year agoA. The time period when they are growing is called proliferation. About 80 percent of hemangiomas stop growing by about 5 months, Dr. says. After hitting this plateau phase, they stay unchanged for several months, and then begin to slowly disappear over time (called involution).
