#asktheexpert my baby is 2.5 months old by baby's birth weight was 3 but due to low brest milk baby weight got reduced to 2.5 in 2 weeks after discharge then doctor recommended for additional formula feed ..now baby weight us 4.05 is it adequate or should I increase the formula feed more

A. You should evaluate on the basis of the lost weight I don’t know when did your child do 500 g so if you look at the birth weight as even 3 kg then also this is a good and healthy weight so with the formula that you’re giving your child is gaining very very well
