Q.

#asktheexpert my baby is 19 months old but weighs only 9 kgs. She is otherwise active. Is this point of concern? If yes, how do I increase her weight?

A. Hello dear parent! As long as your baby is active and healthy, reaching milestones then nothing to worry. Gradually include all food groups in your child’s diet that is staple in your family. Give 3 meals and 2 healthy snacks in a day. Let the child be physically active and feel hungry before the next meal. Check with your doctor for any vitamin deficiency in your child due to poor weight gain.
