#AskTheExpert my baby is 18 months old, he is physically active and height weight is all fine. but still he don't call me mumma , he just babble mumma papa some 3 to 4 words but he doesn't recognise and so many times I teach him body parts but he's not learning. I'm tensed

A. hi mam,it is too early to teach academics or such things. please let your child enjoy his or her childhood. mam ,each and every child is different so they grow at their own pace, please don't compare your child with others. To encourage your child for talking ,you should talk with your child more and more. but never force your child. play different games,ask simple questions ,point out different objects and try to talk with your child for this . it will definitely help. along with all these ,keep your child away from any type of screen like tv mobile iPad etc
