#AskTheExpert My baby is 18 days old..My milk supply is low my mother in law started giving cow milk to my baby.plz suggest is it good for him or not. And his noes is also block suggest any remedies for this also.

ExpertDr Bandana JoshiAyurvedic Physician2 years agoA. Not at all you should start with cow milk and if your milk flow is not enough for the baby then you can start with formula milk for the baby and feed on regular intervals take care

Animal milk is complete no-no before completing the age of one year it can have side-effects on your child which is why Dr is strictly say that new animal milk should be given to the child before the age of Vanessa you need to stop giving that if you are low on your breast feeding you can always take support of formula feed
