#AskTheExpert my baby is 17 days old.he faces problem at the time of toilet(stool).because of harden.plz suggedt me what can I do?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Constipation in Babies less than 1 year is very common and more in formula fed babies and also when initially the semi solid food has been started after 6 months .
you can give bonnisan drops and some enzyme preparations in proper dose suggested by doctor and cow's milk should be avoided before 1 yeear of age . Medications are required but it should be given only in medical supervision .
