#AskTheExpert My baby is 1 yr 3 months old now. My doubt is about my periods. After my delivery my periods started in the months of december 2020 ,after 1 yr of my delivery. And it time gap is 40 days now. Before my pregnancy it was 30 to 35 days. Is there any pblm?

ExpertDr Laxmi Chavan-SawantAyurvedic Gynaecologist 4 years agoA. due to lack of sleep and rest if there are irregular menses after delivery so you need to have sleep whenever baby is sleeping and take good nutrition along with adequate water intake which will help maintain health and also your mensis

SanthoshiMom of a 8 yr 2 m old girl4 years agoA. Hi dear everything is possible after delivery depending on your body n hormones. It's normal after delivery. There is nothing much to worry. Sometimes it would bleed less sometimes more. Missing periods for a while.. Sometimes it may even take time.it may even take a year to resume for few. It differs for each mum. it's all due to hormonal imbalance post delivery.
