#AskTheExpert my baby is 1 nd half month old ....he s getting yellow clour pus on his left eye .....wat to do now

ExpertDr. Pandurang sawantPaediatrician2 years agoA. Frequently eye discharge may be due to allergy, infection or trauma by nail of baby or blocked nasolacrimal duct.
If it is due to blocked nasolacrimal duct since birth we have to reopen that duct with massage
Massage from inner side of eyes to the tip of nose.
It will help
Nasolacrimal duct can also be blocked due to nasal congestion
Visit ur nearest pediatrician once for detail examination of ur baby.

as without her physical examination one can not suggest anything concrete
kep her well hydrated
use simply purified water having tds higher than 350
