A. Or make cucumber paste and press them gently on the rash affected areas. Cucumber has cooling and hydrating properties that calm down the itching or burning sensation and hydrate your baby's skin. Later wipe it off with a soft towel soaked in cold water.

A. Keep your child in cooler surroundings to prevent or heal heat rashes. Avoid clothes that are too tight and warm. Make her wear loose fitting cotton clothes in summers. Use lukewarm water to bathe your baby. Home Remedies: Take a soft muslin cloth, pour half a cup of oatmeal in it and tie a bundle. Soak the bundle in cold water and gently dab it on your baby's skin. Do this once or twice a day.
