Q.
#AskTheExpert my baby has not gained weight . he is 6 and half month and weighs 7.4 kg ..he is on formula milk. his birth weight was 3.6kg. 5 month also he was 7.1 kg. is this weight okay as from past 1 month there is no significant increase in weight .

ExpertDr. Mohammed imranPaediatrician3 years agoA. baby is 6 month it's good Weight gain depeens upon birth weight and maturity of the baby if the baby is active and feeding adequately don't worry about it feed for 10 to 15 min from each side

If ur baby is active and playful then no need to worry about weight much..
Once ur baby completes six months then u can start with solids. This will also help in weight gain
