#AskTheExpert My baby has fever from today morning I gave her calpol 120mg 7ml for every 6 hrs but as soon as I gave syrup her body gets hot for sometime then cools down but when time comes for next dose her body is cool only forehead is hot and she doesn't have cold. But her fever doesn't go completely. When her fever go completely and how many days it will take to complete cure?

RashmiMom of a 11 yr old girl4 years agoA. Hello ma’am I believe seven ml too much to be given to a child.. Still if you feel that the body is cool after giving the dosage even after eight hours and retake the temperature and if the temperature is below 99° fahrenheit that means a fever is down there is no need to give the medicine. And if the fever is still not coming down even after 2 to 3 to 6 days consult your paediatrician ones
