Q.

My baby has fever from today morning. I gave her Calpol 120mg 7ml for every 6 hrs to her.She is 1year 7 month old.As soon as I gave syrup full body of her gets hot for sometime and then cools down. But when the time comes for next dose her body is cool only forehead is hot and she doesn't have cold. What is it and what to do?

A. Don't worry it can ge viral feverso continue repeating the dose after six hours and keep the child hydrated by giving more liquids and fruits and light and easily digestible foods

Your baby may have a high temperature if they: feel hotter than usual to touch on their forehead, back or stomach feel sweaty or clammy have flushed cheeks If you think your baby has a high temperature, it's best to check their temperature with a thermometer. This can help you work out whether you need to get medical advice.
