#AskTheExpert my baby has been on solids for 2.5 weeks now. He just eats 4 to 5 bites of anything offered. Then he closes his mouth shut and does not want to eat . I am trying to teach him to hold spoon and eat on own but it becomes too messy with puree. He does not drink water either happily. He is sort of constipating too. Sometimes I feel I should force feed him. I feel bad as he starts crying. What do I do?
