Q.

#AskTheExpert my baby had 15.4 bilirubin on day 4th and was given phototherapy. on day 5th it was 18. After intensive photitherapy ,on day 6th it came down to 15.1. mg/dl. doctor discharged and asked for follow up after 10 days now. however, i am worried about rebound billirubinemia! is it really a threat even befor our due date for follow up.

A. Hello mom Jaundice is very common in babies so you don’t have to worry about it at all you just have to follow the instructions given by a doctor. Rather than this you should also take your baby early morning outside for giving a proper sunlight it will also helps in curing it very fast. Baby should be totally on mother’s milk and feed your baby properly
