#AskTheExpert My baby girl now 4 months is pooping 3 days once.. may I know it's common or need to take any precautions

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. constipation is common problem in children in which diet modification is important like including high fibres in the diet for which you can give seasonal fruits like papaya, watermelon and seasonal vegetables will also help , can give daliya bor oatsmeal also .give more liquids.
giving excess of milk may cause constipation too.also avoid banana which may aggravate .lactulose or polyethylene glycol is of good help,give any medicine or suppository only when prescribed.
