Q.

#asktheexpert my baby girl is 4 month old. Her current weight is 5kg since 1.5 month. Her birth weight was 2.7kgs. Her appetite has decreased. She was on both formula and breastfeed, stopped taking formula at 3 months. Now on breastfeed only, but her weight is constant. Please help to find a resolution

A. It's good that you have stopped giving formula feed. Continue giving breastfeed properly to the baby. According to babies demand and also, you should have healthy food intake, which will help develop the baby soon.

A. There are many reasons why babies may not feed as well as previously or refuse the breast, including: A sore or uncomfortable mouth. Earache or another illness, such as chicken-pox or hand foot and mouth disease. Discomfort of some other sort, such as teething.
