#AskTheExpert My baby girl is 4.5 month old. she sleeps 7 hours straight in the night. over the day has 6 feedings. Is this normal and healthy? or should I wake her up in between in the night for one feed?

RevathiMom of a 5 yr 5 m old boy4 years agoA. it's fine if baby sleeps for a stretch in the night. their body is getting aligned to day and night. you don't have to wake baby up for feeds.

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children4 years agoA. no need to disturb the baby if the sleeping is 6 to 7 hours For further advice it is advisable to consult your local doctor for appropriate examination if there is need for investigations also then only proper treatment can be given to you o . K .

It’s Perfectly alright if your child is sleeping for 7 to 8 hours at a stretch during the night time there is nothing wrong with it in fact that’s good for the child only that your child is able to sleep constantly for that long duration without any disturbance you do not have to breastfeed your child in between
