#asktheexpert my baby girl is 2.5 months old. She is on exclusive breastfeed. Since yesterday, she has been pooping very less quantity and only once. Before that, she had been pooping like 3,4 times a day with good quantity. overall she is active and feeding well. Kindly suggest.

A. there is nothing to worry about for motion passed by the baby as baby may pass motions more than 10 times and also once in 5 to 7 days both the cases are totally normal you just need to keep a watch that baby should urinate at least 8 to 10 times in a day

Many babies poop only once a day and some as infrequently as once a week. This is usually not a sign of a problem, as long as the baby maintains a healthy weight.
