Q.

#AskTheExpert My baby girl is 16 months old. Regularly she sleeps at 12 or 12.30 and wake up at 7am and again after having milk she sleeps till 9.30am. But from some days she is not sleeping properly at night. She wake up at 3am pr 4am and not sleep properly till 6am or 7am. I do not make any changes in her routine and food still this is happening. Can you please tell what can be the reason of her disturbed sleep? And what can I do to make her to have deep sleep?

A. A sleep regression is a period when a baby or toddler who has been sleeping well suddenly starts waking at night, becomes difficult to settle and/or is skipping naps. The 12 - 15 month sleep regression is all based around nap transitions
