A. She is on breast feed completely and latching properly but still not gaining weight. Since she was puking also we consulted a doctor. He has advised on giving top feeds. But i am sure she is drinking my milk nicely. Can there be any other reason she is not putting up weight?

A. It is normal for newborns to lose some weight in the first few days after birth, but they usually regain it within 10-14 days. Since your 15-day-old baby is still not gaining weight, ensure she is feeding well and frequently (every 2-3 hours, including at night). If you are breastfeeding, make sure she is latching properly and getting enough hindmilk. If needed, consult a lactation expert. If on formula, check if she is drinking the recommended amount. Monitor for pee counts (6+ times a day) and active behavior. If weight loss continues or she seems weak, consult a pediatrician immediately. Let me know if you need feeding tips!
