A. Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it may be a part of allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination. steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like alex cold/ hatric 3/ sinarest. As a part oftg viral illness there could be associated symptoms like cough and fever which needs treatment accordingly along with a proper hydration needs to be maintained .

A. it is quite normal in the change of the season and because of low immunity of the kids with the openly get attacked by the congestion so you must always start with the steaming whether direct or indirect a steaming always helps to get rid of the congestion or else you may take doctors recommended medicine always try to feed fresh seasonal fruits as well as vegetables if it is too cold you can start giving a hot vegetable soup corn soup chicken soup as these are healthy options
