Q.

#asktheexpert my baby drinks breast milk for short duration of times and then sleeps off.. i need to continually be available to breast feed her to get her full.. what can be best alternative? A. at present it is advisable to go for demand feeding that is when I was a child as for milk you can give it to the child and do not worry about the timing of feeding if the child is comfortable sleeping after that

A. Hello dear parent! Maintain a good personal hygiene and make your baby wear comfortable clothing as per the season. Continue breastfeeding your baby well on demand for better health, nutrition and hydration for every 2 hours. If you baby is passing urine 6 to 8 times in a day then nothing to worry about feeding. Good luck and take care.
