#asktheexpert my baby is 6weeks old and he breastfed for only 10-12 minutes and he drink milk from only one breast . Will he get hindmilk in such a short duration and is it normal to breastfeed for such short duration

A. It would completely depend how much milk your child is having at least 12 minutes and how much amount of milk is there in the breast how much is your body making and I don’t think so they would be a problem in having that milk also if the child is taking feeding from one breath it is not good because the other will stop making the milk and second is that the breast shape is going to be uneven and the size will be you really need to take care of this
