A. It is not uncommon for babies to develop their upper teeth before their lower teeth. Typically, lower teeth appear around 6-10 months, while upper teeth often come in a little earlier or around the same time. As long as your baby is otherwise healthy, eating well, and meeting growth milestones, there is likely no need to worry. Continue to give calcium and ensure a nutritious diet for proper dental development. If the delay in teething persists beyond 12 months or if you notice other concerns, it would be a good idea to consult your pediatrician or a pediatric dentist to ensure everything is progressing normally.
