#AskTheExpert My baby Dhvani is 2 years 2 months old. She uses the washroom after every meal. This is occurring since last 2 months due to which I feel she is not gaining weight at all. Her weight is constantly 9.5 kgs since last 14 months. Please advice.

A. hi dear When growing kids don't gain weight as they should, it is called "failure to thrive." Failure to thrive is not a disease or disorder itself. Rather, it's a sign that a child is undernourished. In general, kids who fail to thrive are not getting enough calories to grow and gain weight in a healthy way.
