#asktheexpert my baby boy is 2.5 months now. he isn't sleeping at all during the night even for an hour. even during afternoon he isn't taking any nap. please suggest what can be done as it is important for him to sleep for overall growth and development.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children1 Year agoA. Colic in babies is a very common issue and it's matter of concern for parents as the baby is extremely irritable and inconsolable by most of the means.
Exclusive breastfeeding with a proper bupring and keeping the baby in an upright position will be helpful.
Antiflatulence medicine like semithicone , probciotics and enzyme preparations may be helpful.
Maternal lifestyle and dietary habbits are also contributory and important.
