#asktheexpert my baby birth weight 2.5 discharge wt 2.2 now 4 months weight is 5.1? is it very low? except delivery date feb 2 and baby bone on 19 jan

A. At 4 months having 5 kg weight is very good and nothing to worry just. Continue with Breastfeeding Or formula feed Whatever you are giving and give as per baby's demand

A. Hello parent Babies tend to gain weight fast and then slow down. In the first few months, babies gain about 1 ounce (28 grams) a day. That slows at around 4 months to about 20 grams a day. As they turn 6 months old, many babies are gaining about 10 grams or less a day.
