Q.
#AskTheExpert My baby 2.5 months old ,but he is not having potty at regular intervals,once in 3-4 days that also after applying capsule at his evacuating point and also he is feeling pain while doing potty as it becomes really hard.So please help me with that.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. normally hardness of the stool is not seen when you are giving only breastfeeding to the child.
it is advisable to continue only breastfeeding and nothing else till completion of 6 months of age.
if still the hard stool continues you have to visit the doctor to find the cause.
but if you are giving formula milk dthen there is a possibility that the milk is not properly digested by the child and you will have to change the brand of formula milk.d
also do not give any food to the child except milk at this age.

please give more and more breastfeeds
make sure your child get enough milk
as you are giving breastfeeds to your child , please take easily digestible food items more
give massage to your baby on daily basis.
it will definitely help.
