#asktheexpert My baby 1month old.. 2.4 kg weight... doctor suggested simyl mct oil to my baby... After giving she had loose motion.. Again i went to doctor he told because of cold she is getting loose motion, he said me to give once she recovered from cold... And now again she is crying for no reason after giving simyl mct oil.. I don't know whether to give or not.. I also worried about my baby's weight... Pls suggest any solution

Sonam PrasadMom of 2 children2 years agoA. hi dear Caregivers should always contact a doctor for infant diarrhea if their child is younger than 6 months old. According to Johns Hopkins Medicine, caregivers should also talk with a doctor if they notice the following signs in their child: symptoms of dehydration, including: decreased urine output.
