#AskTheExpert. my 9 month old keeps sucking on thumb a lot. Due to this sometimes he doesnt even get hungry evn though otherwise he is very playful n active. How can we get rid of the thumb sucking habit

A. you need to wean the baby. off this habbit apply any sour tasting liquid I've rthumb try positive reinforcement techniques maintain hydration and keep a track on urine output maintain hygiene in the area
