Q.

#AskTheExpert My 8.5 month old sits, crawls, pulls to stand with support. she smiles, laughs, plays and recognizes her name by looking at us at times and babbles a little as ta ta, aata. she enjoys peek a boo and initiates sometimes by putting cloth on her face. she recently started imitating simple sounds and actions. she signals to be picked up and when she is done with food by turning away her face. Concerns: she understands just 1-2 words like when we say pigeon she looks outside window. is this age appropriate. worried. please suggest.
