#AskTheExpert My 8.5 month old sits, crawls, pulls to stand with support. She smiles, laughs, plays and babbles little aa ta ta aata. She responds to name at times. She signals to be picked up by raising hands or pulling me and turns her face away when done with food. She enjoys peek a boo and at times initiates by putting cloth on her face. She likes to look in mirror and catch shadows. She recently started mimicking simple sounds and actions. Concerns: She understands only 1-2 words like if we say pigeon, she looks outside window. Is this age appropriate or any concerns. Worried. Please suggest.
