#AskTheExpert my 7 week old baby girl cries excessively when we try to burp her after feeding. also, sometimes she starts crying too much on coming near the breast. is it colic? what shoukd be done? we are giving colic aid and protectis tablets

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 9 m old girl4 years agoA. it is the colic .Infantile colic is a very common thing in babies . Some amount of gaseous trouble and colic pain will be there even after all medicine or proper burping . This will be normal as baby grow . Gastica drop can be given 3 times and meftal spas drop for pain .
