#asktheexpert My 6 month old son's eye is discharging from evening.. it seems eye infection.. what should i do

A. Frequently eye discharge may be due to allergy, infection or trauma by nail of baby or blocked nasolacrimal duct.  If it is due to blocked nasolacrimal duct since birth we have to reopen that duct with massage  Massage from inner side of eyes to the tip of nose.  It will help  Nasolacrimal duct can also be blocked due to nasal congestion Visit ur nearest pediatrician once for detail examination of ur baby.  kec

A. hello actually it might be due to over heat in the body also just try to apply some warm castor oil to the tummy pad and feet as well as head and also keep your baby hydrated well and very hygiene and check with your doctor if it is too much
