Weaning food can be started from 5-6 months of age and in that initially in the stage 1 you can introduce some semi solid food to the baby like Banana mango plum boiled Apple and then gradually you can start with some Puri of carrot potato other foods which can be given are porridge of suji e sabudana can be prepared in breast milk or formula milk.
initially you can start with one or two tsp which can be gradually incgdreased up till at least three meals in a day
Lovleena MishraMom of 2 children3 years agoA. Start with one solid or one semi solid meal per day and then slowly increase. Start with moong Dal Pani or cooked and mashed apple puree. If the baby is not eating then try to offer 3-4 spoons only. Continue this for 3 to 4 days and then start with a new food item.
