#AskTheExpert my 6 month baby girls weight is 5350 g ...brth weight is 2950g ..she is very active bt not gaining weight properly..I started to give semi solid foods...Pls give me suggstion for betr weight gain..

A. Dear mum, your baby’s weight is not very low. Also, your baby being active, indicates good health. For healthy weight gain, give all seasonal fruits and vegetables even green leafy vegetables. Add ghee to every meal and squeeze lemon wherever possible. Use full cream milk to prepare recipes like porridge, kheer and give as milk products like curd, paneer, cheese. Give top food 2 to 3 times a day and up to half katori every time. Continue to breastfeed baby.
