#AskTheExpert My 5month baby sweats forehead while breast feed. What to do

A. Yes it is common. Since babies don't move much in the initial few months and always lay on their back it is normal for them to sweat a lot. And baby's body heat is released through the head. So the head can sweat a lot and feel hot compared to other body parts. In ur baby's case the baby may be having his forehead too close to ur body while feeding which could cause sweating. But if u notice excessive sweating it's good to consult with your pediatrician once.
